Putri Mandi cake is a standard Indonesian cake originating from the island of Java. Judging from the form and style, the Putri Mandi cake is similar to the Mendut cake which is understood in Central Java and the Bugis cake typical of Betawi.
The distinction is that the mendut cake is wrapped in leaves (normally within the type of a tum) and the thick coconut milk sauce is watered first after which steamed. Likewise, the Bugis cake, typical of Betawi, is wrapped in a cone-shaped leaf, drenched in coconut milk, freshly steamed. Whereas the similarities between these three truffles are that they each comprise coconut milk and use thick coconut milk sauce.
INGREDIENTS OF LEATHER Dough:
250 gr glutinous rice flour
50 gr starch/sago flour
1/4 tsp salt
125 ml liquid coconut milk
Purple and inexperienced coloring (suji leaf water)
INGREDIENTS OF COCONUT ENTEN CONTENTS:
150 gr brown sugar, finely sliced
1/2 younger coconut, coarsely grated lengthwise
100 ml water
2 pandan leaves, lower every 5 cm
1/8 tsp salt
INGREDIENTS OF CONDITIONED COCONUT SAUCE / SAUCE:
500 ml coconut milk from 1 coconut
1 tsp rice flour
2 pandan leaves, torn, make a knot 1/8 tsp salt
HOW TO MAKE :

5. Serve with a drizzle of thick coconut milk sauce.
