The Jordan Wood Cutters – ‘No, This Is Not a Joke’
In the beginning, it was just a simple wooden chopping board.
Then, someone came along with a tool and made the whole process more complicated.
Now, the wood cutting boards are made with a high-quality machine that lets you carve your own custom boards.
It’s all a part of Jordan Wood’s quest to reinvent wood cutting.
The project is part of the Jordan Wood Family Foundation’s Woodcutting for Change initiative, a project aimed at helping communities in the world’s poorest countries build more resilient communities and reduce environmental impact.
“A lot of the wood-cutting community has a tendency to just be lazy,” said Jordan Wood, an executive at the company.
“They just do it and then it’s finished.
We want to bring that mentality into the woodworking world.”
The Wood Cutting for Change project is a partnership between Jordan Wood and the Wood Foundation, a non-profit organization that aims to bring sustainable woodworking to people’s homes.
Jordan Wood started working on the idea in 2009, when he and his friends were hanging out in an apartment in San Francisco, California, and heard that some of the local wood-cutters had turned their hobby into a business.
“We all said, ‘What if we could just get the wood and wood cutting done for free?'” said Jordan.
The first Wood Cutting was a one-person venture.
“At first, it seemed a bit too ambitious,” Jordan said.
But over the years, he and a team of partners have been building the platform and the brand.
Today, they are able to make a few hundred board cuts a month and sell them through their website.
The idea is to help people to be more productive, by letting them create custom boards and even make their own.
Jordan is not the only one who sees the value in giving back to the community.
“Wood is an amazing material, and so is wood,” said Joanna Gifford, co-founder of the Wood Cutting For Change project.
“You can find that anywhere.
So the more people can have a hand in it, the more they can make a positive impact.”
To help the community, Jordan and his partners have also started a new online course, called The Wood Cutting Challenge.
It teaches the basics of wood cutting, including cutting a block of wood, making a carving block, and cutting a knife.
The course includes an audio guide, a video tutorial, a free online course where you can learn how to make your own wood carving, and a free video of Jordan using a knife to cut his own boards.
The challenge has been met with positive responses from students.
“People are starting to understand what the wood can do,” said Giffent.
“It’s really important to learn and understand these basic skills, because otherwise you may never be able to do anything else.”
Jordan says that with the wood carving community’s growth, it is important to take on more challenging challenges to make their wood work more sustainable.
“This is the beginning of something bigger,” he said.
“Hopefully it will take off.”
Jordan Wood has been working with the Wood Foundations to help connect people to the wood making process, and it is a great idea to keep up with the industry.
The company recently opened a branch in New Zealand, which is home to a growing community of woodcutters.
“There’s been a lot of growth in New Zes Woodworking, and they’ve definitely been able to keep pace with the market,” Jordan added.
“I think it’s great to see that it’s not just wood.
It also helps us to create jobs for the community.”
Jordan said that Wood Foundation partners are interested in partnering with Jordan Wood to help make the world a better place.
“If we can get them to start thinking about what we do for them, they can then get involved with Wood Foundation,” he added.
