Abuk cake is a sort of conventional Betawi cake. The principle substances for making this abuk cake are glutinous rice flour, grated coconut, and brown sugar. Much like the standard conventional desserts of the archipelago usually, the abuk cake is steamed in a cone-shaped bundle product of banana leaves. The abuk cake has a resemblance to the putu cake.
INGREDIENT :
500 gr glutinous rice flour
1 younger coconut, grated peeled
250 gr brown sugar, sliced
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
100 ml water
Banana leaves for wrapping
HOW TO MAKE :
1. Combine collectively: glutinous rice flour, grated coconut, salt, vanilla, water, stir till easy.
2. Take a chunk of banana leaf, add 2 tablespoons of flour combination, add 2 teaspoons of brown sugar, wrap it in a cone form, pin it with a stick.
3. Steam the cake for half-hour or till the cake is cooked.
